De nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron (2016) is de plug-in hybride uitvoering van de grote SUV in het premium segment. De SUV is weer helemaal terug en bijt van zich af wanneer de auto enkel en alleen als ‘benzineslurper’ wordt neergezet. Met de plug-in hybride aandrijving laat Audi zien dat de Audi Q7 veel ruimte en rijcomfort biedt en toch ook ‘groen’ kan zijn! De nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron is op de markt vanaf 2016.
Audi Q7 e-tron (2016)
De nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron met plug-in hybride aandrijving, zet de grote SUV van de Duitse autofabrikant weer terug op de kaart! De SUV modellen nemen in populariteit na het millennium een enorme vlucht. Iedereen wilde in de stoer uitziende auto’s rondrijden, waarbij over zaken als verbruik en uitstoot weinig werd gesproken. Binnen het aanbod van SUV’s brachten Duitse automerken als Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz en Porsche, maar ook merken als Land Rover en Volvo hun premium modellen uit. Nog meer luxe en comfort. Mede door de crisis vanaf 2008 nam de interesse in deze dure auto’s af. De hoge kosten, ondermeer aan belasting en zeker ook aan brandstof, droegen hieraan bij. De kleine, goedkope en zuinige auto’s kwamen daarentegen sterk in trek.
De SUV komt echter weer helemaal terug! Op het gebied van klein en goedkoop, kunnen de nieuwe generatie SUV modellen de concurrentie zeker niet aan met auto’s uit het A-segment en B-segment. Ze richten zich dan ook op een heel andere doelgroep. Op het gebied van een ‘schone’ aandrijving daarentegen, laten ze verbluffende resultaten zien.
Met een plug-in hybride aandrijving kunnen topprestaties geleverd worden, in combinatie met een laag brandstofverbruik en een lage CO2-uitstoot. Bijkomend voordeel hiervan is dat de overheid deze auto’s promoot middels belastingvoordeel. Dit merk je in de aanschafprijs (geen BPM) of in de bijtelling (bij lease).
Design
De Audi Q7 is vanaf 2006 op de markt. In 2009 onderging de Q7 een uiterlijke facelift. In 2015 is er dan een geheel nieuwe Audi Q7, de tweede generatie. Het design van de nieuwe Audi Q7 laat strakke vlakken en scherpe lijnen zien. De nieuwe Q7 is compacter dan het eerdere model, maar de wielbasis is langer. Ook is de auto hoger en breder, waardoor de belevenis van ruimte in de auto subliem is. De grille en koplampen zijn kenmerkend voor de Audi modellen van deze generatie. De nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron (2016) is gebaseerd op de tweede generatie Q7 en is voornamelijk technisch, motorisch anders dan de Q7 met verbrandingsmotor. Optioneel is de Q7 ook met 7 zitplaatsen leverbaar.
Uitrusting
De uitrusting van de nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron is van een hoogstaand niveau. Op gebied van luxe, comfort, infotainment en veiligheid zal het aan niets ontbreken. Audi kan hierbij buigen op veel ervaring in technologie uit andere modellen. In de Q7 e-tron zal ondermeer MMI navigatie plus aanwezig zijn met MMI touch. Dat is een kleine touchpad voor de invoer van gegevens in het systeem.
Uniek is het warmtemanagementsysteem. De auto wordt verwarmd door een systeem dat gevoed wordt met de energie die vrijkomt van de elektromotor en die normaliter verloren zou gaan.

- Acceleratie (0-100 km/u): 6 seconden
- Gecombineerd vermogen: 373 pk
- Gecombineerd brandstofverbruik: 1,7 liter per 100 kilometer
- Gemiddelde CO2-uitstoot: <50 gram per kilometer
- Actieradius (alleen elektrisch): 56 kilometer
- Actieradius (gecombineerd): 1.410 kilometer
De nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron heeft een zowel een verbrandingsmotor (3.0 liter TDI dieselmotor met 256 pk) als een elektromotor (94 kW/350 Nm). Beide motoren kunnen, alleen of gecombineerd, de wielen aandrijven. De nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron heeft tevens vierwielaandrijving (quattro). Daarmee is de nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron ’s werelds eerste TDI plug-in hybride met vierwielaandrijving! De transmissie wordt verzorgd door een 8-traps tiptronic automaat.
De dieselmotor voedt tevens de accu’s tijdens het rijden. De elektromotor ondersteunt de verbrandingsmotor door bij te springen op die momenten dat er harder gewerkt moet worden. Denk aan situaties als optrekken, accelereren of heuvel op rijden. Een regeneratief remsysteem zorgt ervoor dat de energie die vrij komt bij afremmen op de (elektro)motor, wordt opgeslagen in de accu’s. De plug-in hybride heeft naast de hierboven beschreven hybride techniek, als bijkomend voordeel dat het accupakket capaciteit en vermogen genoeg heeft om meer dan 50 kilometer geheel elektrisch te rijden! Je kunt de accu’s opladen met een kabel met stekker. Deze steek je in een willekeurig stopcontact (plug-in). Je kunt ook een laadstation kopen voor thuis, wat het laden sneller laat verlopen. Hiervoor is wel een andere kabel nodig die meer vermogen kan verwerken. Dezelfde kabel gebruik je ook voor laden aan een openbare laadpaal.
Concurrentie
De nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron kent concurrentie van andere SUV modellen in het premium segment die eveneens zijn voorzien van een (plug-in) hybride aandrijving. Denk aan de: BMW X5 xDrive40e, Volvo XC90 T8 Twin Engine of Porsche Cayenne S e-Hybrid. Minder premium, maar daardoor zeker qua prijs interessant, is de Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
Prijzen en bijtelling
De prijzen van de nieuwe Audi Q7 e-tron plug-in hybride zijn nog niet bekend. De nieuwe Audi Q7 staat vanaf zomer 2015 in de showroom en heeft een vanafprijs a € 74.990,-. De Q7 e-tron zal deze prijs in ieder geval overtreffen. Vanwege de uitstoot van CO2 onder de 50 gram per kilometer, valt de auto in de 7% bijtelling (fiscale wet- en regelgeving 2015). Dat maakt de Q7 e-tron in ieder geval aantrekkelijk voor zakelijke rijders.
